Nam jest potrzebne zwierciadło. Walczymy o kontakt, ale nigdy go nie nawiążemy. Znajdujemy się w głupim położeniu człowieka, goniącego do celu, którego się boi. Który nie jest mu potrzebny.  Człowiekowi potrzebny jest człowiek.

Potępienie (1988, reż, Béla Tarr) Problem w tym, że boję się dzieci. Może to po prostu znaczy, że się poddałem, że jestem tchórzem, nędznym tchórzem. Nie ośmielam się nawet mieć nadziei na odmianę swojego losu. Stać mnie tylko na usprawiedliwianie swojego tchórzostwa obrzydzeniem.
